| Golf makes you realize interesting things hehe... i would like to take this time to apologize to everyone who i've pretty much bossed this past week about outreach and stuff.. and thank all of you for being awesome and helping out with the effort. I realized that a part of my motive to work so hard on outreach was an attempt for personal redemption.. since i feel that i didn't do a good job last year. I also realized that crossroads is a unique fellowship and perhaps the way God wants us to attract and touch people is not primarily through great publicity and aggressive followup but rather the way we live as followers of Jesus Christ.. and those people who will be at crossroads, will be the people who are attracted by the joy, love, and grace that we experience from fellowship and self growth..all along, i was trotting a different path because of my own desires. Once again, i would like say sorry =P, my bad, and thanks for supporting me =) | | |
| there are so many things which we do not deserve, yet we've been blessed with them... even when we think that we deserve what we do not deserve, he blesses us abundantly... perhaps we don't deserve anything, such is why it is logical for him to ask us to abandon all things, even those closest to our hearts, because we never deserved them in the first place... that's pretty ownage...

| So recently i've been going to the first pres service cuz of my LSAT class... and they've been talking about pruning, how God prunes each and everyone of us so we can bear even more fruit. That makes sense you know, before i've always thought that it's obvious it's going to be painful and unpleasant but i thought it's something that i could maintain. The more i think of it... god's pruning's incredibly painful... they have one of those visual things during the service where this lady goes up and prunes a vine... and the look in her face is one of sorrow... yet love at the same time. it occurred to me that whenver god prunes, it's literally cutting away apart of me, and this happens in an instananeous manner, one that leave me in pain, almost bleeding ( i'm trying to imagine the sap of the branch leaking cuz of that pruning)... even though my head understand that this is completely out of love, there are time when my heart is angry at god where my mentality is "this better be worth it". Bottomline however, is that i know of his promise, and all i can do is to pray and ask for help for my disbelieve and to continue my life in full confidence of his promise, his glory, and kingdom.

| My dad is here so I go home every weekend thats why I haven't been to
church or fellowship for three weeks. Its harder than it seems to be a
christian in front of one of the most important person in your life, who is not a christian and does not want to hear about it.
